Introduction to CloudLinux

With CloudLinux, shared hosting environments benefit of a better security, stability and features in a regular hosting plan. It packs features that extend the functionality of control panels such as DirectAdmin and cPanel.

Run every major PHP version securely

Use the PHP selector to choose any supported PHP version. We support even PHP 4.4 with the latest patches for PHP 7.3! We apply updates, where applicable, for newer versions to older versions of PHP. Furthermore, you configure any module you'll need and configure PHP to your needs. Click here for an overview of all supported PHP versions.

Run your own NodeJS application

Configure and run your own NodeJS application easily from a GUI. No VPS required.

Security

The kernel of the server has additional security tweaks compared to a regular kernel. Furthermore, users are containerised with limited permissions to only access the permitted applications and their own files. This layer of security prevents that users can access the files of other users.

Stability

On every shared hosting server, multiple websites and clients run their applications. Each website requires performance and attention from the server. If a website is being attacked by a heavy load of http traffic attack (DDoS), this can bring down a regular server. However, with CloudLinux, only the affected website goes down. Other websites remain stable online and are not affected. This allows us to keep the server stable online.

More security

Did you know that we use Imunify360 as well? With this we have an extra security layer that reduces a chance of your website getting hacked. Click here for more information.
