Getting started with your new hosting plan

Modified on Tue, 5 Aug at 9:31 PM

Congratulations on your new hosting package! With this, you have the ability to build your own fantastic website and send emails with your own domain name. We'll help you get started quickly.

To manage your hosting package, you've been given access to the Plesk control panel. With this, you can manage everything about your hosting package.

Logging into Plesk

In the customer panel, go to your services. Click on the service and click on the option Log in to the Plesk Control Panel on the left. You'll be redirected directly to the Plesk control panel.

How does the Plesk interface work?

On the left side (1), you have a comprehensive overview with the most important functionalities. In the middle of your screen (2), you have more options. This part of the screen adapts to the purpose of the page. And on the right (3), you can find additional options and information. Important functionality includes, for example, the PHP selector and Imunify360. If you have multiple subscriptions on the same server, you can find all subscriptions at 4. Note that these should be active on the same server.

How can I get started?

Haven't registered your domain name with us? Then first set up our DNS servers. Only then will your domain name work on our servers.

Do you already have email and a website built with your old host? Then transfer them first. Transferring your old emails can be done quite easily with our guide. This way you can get started quickly.

Starting from scratch? Then you can immediately get to work setting up email accounts and building the website. The panel is built in such a way that you don't necessarily have to be a nerd to get started. Still have questions? Feel free to ask them. We're here for you.

Have you been migrated?

Have you been migrated to Plesk? Then keep the following in mind:

  1. Your webmail is now accessible via https://webmail.domainname.com. Your login remains the same.
  2. Is your email not working anymore? Then check if you're using mail.domainname.nl as the server name. Also check our email settings page for more information.
